Black Star Riders - hard rock band

Black Star Riders is a hard rock band formed in 2012 as a continuation of the legacy of Thin Lizzy. When members of Thin Lizzy’s 2011–2012 lineup decided to record new material, they chose to do so under a new name out of respect for the original band’s history. Thus, Black Star Riders was born—described as “the next step in the evolution of the Thin Lizzy story”.

Fronted by vocalist Ricky Warwick, the band has released several albums including All Hell Breaks Loose (2013), The Killer Instinct (2015), Heavy Fire (2017), Another State of Grace (2019), and Wrong Side of Paradise (2023). Their sound blends classic rock influences with a modern edge, staying true to their roots while forging their own identity.

They’ve seen a rotating lineup over the years, with members like Scott Gorham, Damon Johnson, and Jimmy DeGrasso contributing to their evolving sound. Despite changes, the band has remained a powerful force in the hard rock scene, known for their tight musicianship and anthemic songwriting.
